The five star Marcliffe at Pitfodels is a 40 room luxury hotel on the outskirts of Aberdeen, to the south west of the city. Aberdeenshire is an excellent base for golf, offering both stunning championship links and scenic inland courses.

The hotel is privately owned and is proud of the warm welcome and excellent service extended to guests. Located in several acres of grounds, the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa has a peaceful and comfortable country house feel despite being close to Aberdeen city.

There are five suites and 37 bedrooms in total across both the original building and the extension. Bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and well presented, bringing together both traditional and modern styling. They include all the facilities you would expect of a five star hotel from safes to bathrobes and minibars.

The Hotel Spa facility offers a wide range of treatments.

Golf:

To the north of Aberdeen is a choice of superb championship links – Royal Aberdeen Golf Club, Murcar Links, Cruden Bay golf course, Trump International Links and the lesser known Newburgh on Ythan. There are over 40 golf courses, both 9 hole and 18 hole, within an hour's drive of the Marcliffe at Pitfodels.
