Sandown House is a welcoming guest house with luxurious, spacious rooms. The accommodation is just on the edge of Nairn, 5 minutes from Nairn Golf Club and its championship links.

Sandown House is rated as a Gold 5 Star Guest House by VisitScotland. There are four rooms in a modern building opposite the main house, each of which has a seating area. One of the upstairs rooms has a balcony, while the downstairs room has a terrace with seating. There is a choice of twin or superking rooms. All are an excellent size, particularly for a guest house. Ground floor rooms have wet rooms and baths, upstairs rooms have large walk in showers.

There are two further double rooms in the main house.

All the rooms are comfortably and elegantly furnished and extremely well presented.

A generous breakfast is served in the main house.

Golf:

The closest golf courses are at the Nairn Golf Club which has a championship links. There is a second golf club within Nairn at Nairn Dunbar, and Castle Stuart Links is 15 to 20 minutes' drive. There are other excellent coastal links and scenic inland golf courses in the wider area around Nairn.

There is no lift at the property. Ground floor rooms are available, other rooms are up one flight of stairs. Some rooms have baths, other have walk in showers. If you have a preference please discuss this with the guest house when booking.

There is a small choice of restaurants in Nairn, which can be walked to. It is around 1.5 miles from Sandown House to the centre of Nairn. With transport there is a wider choice of dining in Inverness and around Nairn.
