On the outskirts of the small town of Elgin the Premier Inn Elgin is 20 minutes from Moray Golf Club on the Moray coast. There are over a dozen golf courses within a half hour drive of the Elgin Premier Inn, both scenic inland layouts and classic coastal courses with beautiful sea views.
The Premier Inn Elgin is less than 30 minutes from a number of malt whisky distilleries including Benromach distillery in Forres, the Glen Grant distillery in Rothes and it is only a couple of miles from Elgin's own Glen Moray Distillery . The area around Aberlour and Dufftown to the south are home to numerous Speyside distilleries including Macallan and Aberlour .
For anyone interested in the whole whisky process the Speyside Cooperage at Craigellachie is also well worth a visit.
